About Praxis Foundry

We are a consulting firm that helps physicians and dentists launch and grow independent practices—thoughtfully, strategically, and on their own terms.

We provide end-to-end support for specialists building from scratch or within clinically integrated networks, combining hands-on operational setup with long-term advisory partnership. Our work spans financial planning, hiring, vendor management, systems integration, marketing, and post-launch leadership.

Whether you're transitioning away from an employed model or expanding into a new solo venture, Praxis Foundry offers the clarity, infrastructure, and momentum you need to move forward with confidence.

About the Founder

Saman Askari is the Founder & Principal Consultant at Praxis Foundry and brings deep experience in launching and scaling healthcare ventures. As co-founder and CEO of Mitera, a leading telehealth company in maternal-fetal medicine, he has led the development of a nationally recognized platform for medical clearances in fertility and third-party reproduction—serving top clinics and agencies through a streamlined, tech-enabled clinical workflow.

He also played a key role in building a successful dental clinic from the ground up, overseeing everything from staffing and operations to marketing and growth strategy. Most recently, he led the full launch of a boutique maternal-fetal medicine practice in Silicon Valley, managing planning, hiring, vendor setup, and clinical integration within a larger network.

Saman holds an MBA from Northeastern University and a Master of Engineering from the MIT Zaragoza Program, which is part of MIT’s Global SCALE Network—a network of education centers focused on operational systems and innovation.

Through Praxis Foundry, he brings not only hands-on experience, but also access to a trusted network of professionals—from legal, HR, financial and credentialing experts to EHR consultants, vendor reps, and marketing specialists—offering clients comprehensive support to successfully design, launch, and grow independent practices.
